Yesterday evening, we offered transport from Kileleshwa to Marurui for one of our repeat customers.
But this wasn’t just another job.
It was a mission of kindness.
She was donating her 3-seater sofa, 2-seater sofa, and two shelves to Wings of Compassion Rescue Home, an organisation that gives vulnerable teenage girls in Nairobi a second chance at life.
At exactly 6:00 pm, we arrived in Kileleshwa, carefully loaded each piece of furniture, and set out on the 16 km journey to Marurui.
What could have been just another delivery became a story of hope.

About Wings of Compassion Rescue Home
Wings of Compassion was founded on 1st May 2011 by Rev. Danshire and his wife, Dorcas Danshire.
What began as a small feeding program grew into a safe haven for pregnant teenage girls, most of them under 15 years old.
These girls arrive broken. Rejected by families, traumatised, and burdened with pregnancies they never planned for.
At Wings of Compassion, they are met with:
